B.Sc., The University of the West Indies
Jade attended the University of the West Indies, St Augustine where she obtained a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics with First Class Honours. Her final year group project at UWI focused on comparing the efficacy of hyperbolic embeddings and euclidean embeddings on the task of community detection. The project utilised neural networks in order to produce embeddings. The neural network embeddings were then used with clustering algorithms to detect communities in the data . The strengths of the communities were assessed using their respective modularity scores. Jade is also the co-founder of Mathemaniacs Private Tutoring where she prepares Primary and Secondary School students for their major upcoming examinations. Her hobbies include Music, Visual Art and Graphics, Culinary Arts and Fitness. Jade is passionate about her work and her main research interests include Data Science, Cyber Security and Robotics.
