Moesha graduated with Upper Second Class Honors from the BSc. Actuarial Science (Special) program at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus in 2019. It was during her undergraduate studies that she discovered her true passion for statistics and programming. After obtaining her first degree, Moesha, in collaboration with the Caribbean Cancer Research Institute, spearheaded the development of a database that consolidates cancer-focused journal papers relating to Caribbean individuals and those belonging to the Caribbean diaspora. She is also a 2021 recipient of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Student and Early Career Investigator Scholarship. Moesha is currently a final year MSc. Data Science student at her alma mater and is interested in expanding her knowledge and forging a fulfilling career in data analytics, data visualization and machine learning. Beyond data science and research, she enjoys expressing her creativity through painting and sculpting.
