Arshad Ali, a National Scholarship recipient in Mathematics, holds a BSc. in Statistics and Economics (First Class Honours) from The University of the West Indies and is currently in his final year of the MSc. in Data Science. He serves as a Digital Transformation Analyst at the Ministry of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence (formerly the Ministry of Digital Transformation), where he supports national digital initiatives through data analytics and strategic reporting. His work on the ICT Access Centres has led to the development of performance dashboards that inform executive decision-making by tracking visitor behaviour, centre usage patterns, and service delivery trends across the country. Arshad also contributes to Trinidad and Tobago’s Open Data initiative, leading assessments that improve data quality, digital inclusion, and transparency. He is passionate about using data to enable efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric governance while advancing digital transformation across Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean. Outside of work, Arshad enjoys the gym, cricket, and exploring topics in philosophy and personal growth.
