Christian Thomson is a data professional specializing in financial analytics and predictive modeling. He holds a Bachelor of Science in General Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, where he developed a strong passion for statistics. Following graduation, Christian gained valuable experience in Canada managing diverse data entry, management, and analysis projects. In 2017, he returned to Trinidad and Tobago, initially joining Republic Bank in IT Security before transitioning to Business Analytics in 2020. Christian is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science, aiming to leverage advanced methodologies to optimize financial data models. His technical expertise spans Power BI, Python, R, and SQL. Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Christian’s interests include custom PC building, which recently involved assembling a portable Linux machine. He is also dedicated to bodybuilding as part of his rigorous exercise routine, and he enjoys indoor cycling.
