Kris Manohar is passionate about research, teaching, and student development. He has received a B.S. degree in Computer Science and a M.S. Computer Science with distinction from the University of the West Indies. Since 2010, he has been with the Department of Computing and Information Technology (DCIT). During his time at DICT he has taught several undergraduate courses in computer science and mathematics, and has been involved with the organization of several local and international contests, and training activities. A few examples are the ACM-ICPC national contests (2012, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2019), AMC-ICPC national training camps (2013, 2018), Open Data conference and code sprint (2013, 2015), Computing Fourm (2012, 2013), DICT Runtime competition (2012, 2013) and DCIT Bootcamp (2011, 2012, 2017, 2018). Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the UWI. His research interests include information hiding, stegoanogrpahy, data compression, and image processing.
