Tamia-Ashley is a final year undergraduate Computer Science and Mathematics student at the University of the West Indies. Ms Tuitt has a great interest in Data Science strategies to improve the provision of health care services throughout the Caribbean. Given her expertise in physical fitness as a powerlifter, bodybuilder and certified personal trainer, she aims to revamp and advance the Caribbean health care system to exemplify efficiency with a high quality of care and transparency. Tamia-Ashley is also working toward developing a mental health platform for individuals seeking help within the Caribbean region, where there is a stigma toward mental illness. Ms. Tuitt’s overarching goal is to give rise to a healthier and more active Caribbean through Data Science.
