Shane graduated in 2022 with a first-class honor BSc in Physics, with minors in Environmental Physics and Psychology, from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. His undergraduate journey equipped him with a keen mind for analyzing and solving problems, a love for knowledge, and a profound motivation for helping others. Presently, Shane has embarked on the arduous journey of pursuing an MSc in Data Science, where he intends to broaden his skill set and deepen his knowledge to empower his goal of producing data-driven solutions. Furthermore, his research interests include natural disaster preparedness, and he aims to become more involved in applying data science to human and social development. Apart from academics, Shane enjoys a diverse array of music spanning different genres and various cultures. He also enjoys spending quality time with his friends and nourishing his mind with a good book.
