Nicholas Mendez is a Computing & IT Instructor at UWI St. Augustine, with a Master’s in Computer Science. He lectures in Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, and Web Programming. He is also involved in departmental software projects and serves on the Internship and Outreach committees. Outside of academia, Nicholas is an Organizer for GDG Port-of-Spain and Assistant Country Director for ICPC Trinidad and Tobago. He is an award-winning author on Dev.to and has published in Information Retrieval but is keen on exploring new research areas.
