Darren is an emerging data science professional with a background in DevOps and a growing focus on applied analytics. He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of the West Indies, where he graduated in 2020, and is currently in the final year of the MSc Data Science program. Through his professional experience in the oil and energy sector, he played a key role in digitizing operational processes, driving greater efficiency across several business functions. Darren is especially interested in the role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in solving practical problems and uncovering opportunities for optimization. He is committed to continuous learning and is passionate about using data to create meaningful, lasting impact. Outside of work and study, he volunteers regularly and spends his free time watching documentaries, exploring photography, and keeping up with new technologies.
