My name is Vaishnav Jayaraj, and I’m a second-year student at McMaster University. I am pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. My interests are in electronics and electrical systems, particularly micro-electronics and hardware. I completed CSEC and CAPE in BATCE with all distinctions and regional merits in Pure and Applied Mathematics. I have done several personal projects through school and college. My most recent project was a game board designed for visually and hearing-impaired persons. This prototype entailed remodelling several game pieces and the board to be more ergonomic, as well as designing an electronic component that would output audio. This project won first place in the first-year engineering showcase. My hobbies include hiking, nature watching and playing Indian classical music.
