She holds a BSc in Computer Science with Management from the University of the West Indies and brings professional experience as an ICT Special Project Resource at First Citizens Bank, where she contributed to API development, automation, and technical documentation. Tasnim’s skills span programming, data management, machine learning, and process automation, complemented by strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. She is passionate about leveraging data-driven solutions to address real-world challenges. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, she enjoys baking, crochet and murder mysteries.

Joakim is proficient in Python, R, SQL, and various machine learning tools; he also holds NVIDIA certifications in Fundamentals of Accelerated Data Science and Fundamentals of Accelerated Computing. He is particularly interested in applying data-driven approaches to support sustainable development in the Caribbean, while also exploring broader applications of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to address complex real-world challenges. I am Josh Gopaul, a Master’s student in Computer Science at Florida International University, where I specialize in software development while expanding into AI and data science. I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science with Management from the University of the West Indies. My academic and professional interests are centered on applying artificial intelligence to healthcare, with a passion for building machine learning models that improve accessibility and outcomes in Trinidad & Tobago and globally. I have also worked on projects in financial modeling, genomics, and high-performance computing, combining research with practical applications that address real-world challenges. In addition to AI research, I have a strong background in full-stack development and systems design. My portfolio includes a disaster-relief platform integrating real-time hurricane tracking, differential diagnosis (sepsis prediction), a real-time cryptocurrency streaming dashboard, and innovative social and job-matching applications. These projects reflect my ability to bridge theory and practice by creating scalable, impactful technologies. Chelsea Porter earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the UWI Mona and is currently doing her Master’s in Data Science at the UWI St. Augustine campus, whilst teaching CSEC Mathematics. She chose Data Science because of her interest in how data can be used as a predictive tool, making it useful for decision making. Currently, Chelsea has over three years of hands-on experience specializing in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Analysis. Her technical proficiency encompasses programming languages such as Python, R, and Julia, alongside database management with SQL, data visualization with Power BI, and back-end development. Her hobbies include cooking, jogging, hiking, gardening (any sort of engagement with nature) and working with children and individuals with special needs.

I have been working as a full-stack software developer for over three years, where I design, build, and maintain applications across multiple layers of the technology stack. Her current focus at TTLAB centers on disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation finance, with an emphasis on leveraging spatial data and predictive models to inform resilient development in the Caribbean.
